If you switch to a Mac after becoming familiar with Windows, you'll quickly find that the standard Ctrl+Alt+Delete shortcut doesn't do anything. Mac OS X does have its own version of the Task Manager, but it's a bit different than Windows', and you access it by pressing Command+Option+Esc. If I want a range of consecutive items, I hold the ctrl AND shift key and click on the first and the last item and windows highlights everything in between. No need to hold Ctrl. With Windows, just click first then.Shift click. last for consecutive items. On Mac,.Command click. to select non-consecutive items.
I've been having trouble with many applications since you must hold control and left click to highlight different things. But, when you hold control and left click on a MacBook, it emulates as right click, or control click. Is there an application to make is so that when I hold control and left click, it will just left click instead of right clicking? I don't want to modify the control key to where it's another key (like the ⌥ Option or ⌘ Command Key), or to where it has 'No Action.'

I've tried Karabiner but it doesn't seem to work with High Sierra. And Karabiner Elements doesn't seem to have any rule/command that says 'Control+Left Click to Left Click.'
